Angels USA is "Iked-Out Jezebel and Lingerie Jack", the latest presumed-aliases of a New York-based duo with a series of impressive titles released under their Angels In America and Miami Angels In America monikers (under the presumed aliases of Moppy Pont and Merv Glisten). Identity aside, the duo have released a series of impressive limited-run cassette and vinyl titles on labels such as Northern Spy, Ehse, Night Peole, and Ecstatic Peace! There have even been "industrial"-based comparisons with Throbbing Gristle. In the Angels catalogue, the duo have created a dark, goth-infected, industrial-electronic soundscape that pushes the their unique "pop" edge straight off a cliff into the abyss of a bizzare, confused, and, at times, debauched world. A haunted yet sentimental lo-fi thesis on a broken society. VH1 Drunk is released as a limited edition C40 cassette tape on the Italy-based Hundebiss label.
